Both my parents are from Latvia which is in the Baltic. The family left Latvia in 1944. I went to Latvia for the first time in 2004 to visit my Heritage. Touring the country I discovered the Flax, which linen is made from. This beautiful & elegant fabric is hand loomed into a raw linen. The fabric can be made into beautiful curtains ( like no fabric seen in U.S.A. I found a clothing line , Shawls with beads woven in & some with no beads. Also table wear, place mats, table cloth, napkins & etc this has a very rich & natural look. The workmanship is very detailed & hand crafted. This is what I see to be in our life style in the future. The casual but elegant look with little maintained. The history of this manufacturer of this table wear, fabric's & shawl's, runs back to 1934. when it was established as a manufacturer of decorative Art Fabric. The enterprise was transformed in 1993 as a private Co. However it has not altered the tradition of high-quality, artistic handwork. Most of the product is sold outside of Latvia, mainly in European Countries. I have been in every facet of the retail business. I had my first retail store at the age of 26. I belive the look of this Linen is now & coming in the future. The rich & elegant look with a casual life style. We carry a clothing line,a very soft Wool line of gloves & sweater's. Linen shawl's with & without beading. I also sell these beautiful fabric's by it self, so you can create your own look. Table wear & accessories, table cloth's, runner's, towels,bed sheets, Dives's etc. Any of these items like the Shawls & Home accessories can be ordered in any size or color. If a customer special orders any of these items it may take a week or two longer.
